Garry Chopin is an executive and personal coach, trainer and organizational consultant with over 15 years experience in helping people and organizations toward greater functionality. He assists his clients in finding the authenticity and wherewithal to energize both themselves and their organizations.
Garry has taught hundreds of workshops for a variety of organisations and at a variety of levels within those organisations.
As a coach and trainer he has inspired a great many of his clients to reach their personal goals and enjoy the successes that they so richly deserve in both their work and private lives.
His expertise ranges from coaching individuals and groups through the rigors of process oriented problem solving and decision making to designing and implementing compelling strategic business management initiatives. He works with individuals and groups with equal alacrity. His personable, humorous style and knowledge of communication skills enhance his ability to relate to all levels of an organisation.
He has often been seen as a catalyst - bringing about substantive and transformational change for both the individual and company.
Garry's sophisticated knowledge of business coupled with his ability to coach people in the application and integration of processes has proven invaluable in building rapport and credibility with his clients. His ability to easily and effectively work at all levels of the organisation has provided open environments in which clients feel confident to grow, experience new ideas and develop new alternatives.
He believes passionately that coaching must follow all training and encourages newly acquired skills to be practised to a level of unconscious competence or true integration. In this manner both the individual and the company benefit. Garry endeavours to help his clients remove barriers to their own growth and in doing so provide a framework for them to attain their true potential.
Garry is married, with four adult children. His spare time is spent woodworking, both he and his wife share a passion wilderness hiking and cross country skiing. He is an avid runner and guitar player.
Garry is a Certified Adult Educator (CACE), a Certified Professional Coach and a Certified ISO9000 Lead Assessor. He holds an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Management and a Masters Degree in Business. He is the owner of two companies both based in Edmonton with associates in British Columbia and Boston MA.
